Adult 10
The Adult 10 program is designed for people who want to enhance life skills, independence and self-sufficiency. The knowledge, skills, and attitudes gained in secondary education are important for those who wish to enter or re-enter the labour force, who need retraining, or who wish to advance in a chosen career.
The five required courses at the Adult 10 level are Communications, Social Sciences, Life/Work Studies, Mathematics and Science.
Learners who complete Adult 10 successfully go to on further education, training, or employment opportunities.
Adult Basic Education
- Did you leave school before completing Grade 12?
- Do you wish you were eligible for more jobs or training?
- Do you need pre-requisites for post-secondary education?
If you answered “yes” to any of the above then Adult Basic Education is likely your right choice.

Student Testimonial
“I chose Parkland College because I wanted to go back to school. The best thing about the College is the assistance from the teachers when needed and the friends I made in school.
I would recommend Parkland College because it is a great place to learn.”
