On Friday in Yorkton, Parkland College awarded $98,900 to 84 students from across the region in this spring’s Internal Scholarships.
Combined with Entrance Scholarships handed out in September, Parkland College awarded over $171,000 in the 2016-17 academic year. This is the sixth straight year in which the College has given out more than $100,000 in scholarships.

These awards are made possible through the generosity of local businesses, organizations, community members, College staff, and sponsors and participants in the annual Dollars for Scholars Golf Classic.
Eligible post-secondary awards are matched by funds from the Ministry of Advanced Education’s Saskatchewan Innovation and Opportunity Scholarship program. Funds are provided on a dollar-for-dollar matching basis, as available, with local non-government donors.
