Career Explorations 2023

Join us for the largest education and career fair encompassing East-Central Saskatchewan. The event is brought to you by Parkland College, Good Spirit School Division & Christ the Teacher Catholic School Division.

Discover post-secondary options and meet potential employers all under one roof on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at the Gallagher Centre in Yorkton, SK.

Over 2,000 students will be in attendance with an open invitation for community members to also be involved throughout this event. Back by popular demand this year is the opportunity to attend presentations throughout the day for students.

Exhibitor Details

1 Early Bird Exhibitor Booth:

Register by September 8

• $400.00 (GST included)

1 Regular Exhibitor Booth:

After September 8 (deadline to accept any registrations is Sept 29)

• $450.00 (GST included)

Exhibitor Registration Includes:

• One 8’ x 10’ booth space, one table and two chairs.
• One (1) 110v electrical outlet at no charge (please advise).
• 2 meal tickets for breakfast and lunch in the BMO Sports Lounge.
• Additional skirting (for front of table) is available at a cost of $35 per booth

Rooms have been reserved for the night of Oct. 16 at each of these Yorkton hotels:

Meals

Two complimentary tickets for a continental breakfast and lunch are included. * Additional tickets are available for breakfast ($5.00 each) or lunch ($15.00 each).

Passport

All students are issued a passport and prize challenge during the event. If you would like your organization highlighted, advertising space is available as follows in the passport:

• 1/2 page size ad @ $100.00 (Dimensions: 5.5″ wide x 4.25″ high)
• Full page ad @ $150.00 (Dimensions: 5.5 wide x 8.5″ high)

Presentations

• Rooms will be available for presentations throughout the day at 30 minutes per session beginning at 10:00 a.m. and ending at 1:00 p.m. Each room will have a projector and screen for presentation use.
• Presenters supply their own laptops/computer equipment.
• 20 presentation spots are available on a first to request basis. In past years they have filled up quickly, so request yours early. Please note: The Career Explorations Committee reserves the right to limit the number of presentations per organization.

Door prizes

If you are able to donate a door prize, please indicate your interest on the Registration Form and bring it with you to the event.

Set-up Time

Tuesday, October 17, 2023 – 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

All booths must be fully set up and ready for the Career Fair to start at 9:30 a.m.
