Literacy Tutors to be Acknowledged at Recognition Night

Yorkton, SK – Parkland College is pleased to be acknowledging all of the literacy tutors who have graciously volunteered to tutor adult learners as well as adults learning English as an additional language in our literacy program. Our shining star tutors will be recognized at our annual literacy recognition event. We invite you to join us for the presentation of awards.

The evening includes a meal, followed by the recognition of our volunteers, and concludes with entertainment by Alina Havrylyuk, a concert pianist, who has immigrated from Ukraine and is now living in Preeceville where her husband works. Tickets for the meal are $15 and must be requested no later than Thursday, April 22. The evening will conclude by 9:00 p.m. For more information about this event, contact Parkland College.
