Parkland College Students can Complete their Degree in Australia

Parkland College Business (Accounting) Diploma graduates now have the opportunity to complete their Bachelor of Commerce Degree (in Accounting) from Griffith University in Australia after an articulation agreement between the two institutions was approved on December 10, 2009.

According to William Litchfield, Director of Advancement, “A student who has completed the two-year SIAST Business Accountancy Diploma at Parkland College can complete the Bachelor of Commerce degree in only three more semesters at Griffith University – Nathan Campus. This is a great opportunity for our students and a new pathway to meet their personal and professional goals. We are pleased to have established an articulation agreement with Griffith University allowing our students to pursue futures in the global economy.”

“Since opening its doors in 1975, Griffith University has come to be regarded as one of Australia’s most innovative tertiary institutions and one of the most influential universities in the Asia-Pacific region. From its beginnings, Griffith stood apart from many universities in Australia and the world due to its commitment to environmental sustainability, cultural and social inclusiveness and innovative multidisciplinary approaches to teaching and research.
