Overview
Unique Training for Members of Industrial Fire Brigades
Parkland College is now offering NFPA 1081 Industrial training at any on-site location in Saskatchewan. These courses are designed to prepare industry fire fighters to respond to emergencies in their workplace. Training is tailored to your specific industry and can meet any time frame.
Courses are delivered in cooperation with Justice Institute of British Columbia (JIBC) and include: Incipient, Interior Structural and Advanced Exterior. Industrial employers may determine the training level required for their site specific training.
Upon successful completion of training modules, eligible candidates may apply for IFSAC and ProBoard certification.

This course is designed to equip current and prospective brigade members with the basic knowledge of industrial firefighting. | |
NFPA 1081 Advanced Exterior Level | Prerequisite: Available upon request |
Covers the knowledge and skills necessary to fight exterior industrial fires including use of PPE, SCBA, building search&rescue, advanced firefighting techniques and more. | |
NFPA 1081 Interior Structural Level | Prerequisite: Available upon request |
Covers the knowledge and skills necessary to fight interior structural fires with use of PPE, SCBA, building search&rescue and more. |
